I'm Julia (also known as fancysmudges), an artist currently based in Chicago, IL! While my background is in concept art for animation, I've been slowly pivoting and trying to find my voice as a freelance illustrator. This shop has been a long time in the making and includes some of my favorite things: nature, cute animals, bookish fanart, and vivid colors.

I hope my art can add a little bit of warmth and whimsy into peoples lives.
